I really got into cooking late 2012 when I was watching Shinryaku! Ika Musume. The shrimp fried rice just looked so good so I did my take on it! This came from the fried rice basis I made!
Shrimp Fried Rice (serves 1-3 people)
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
more or less 1/2 onion, chopped
2 beaten eggs
2- 2 1/2 cups cooked rice
1 tablespoon sesame oil
more than 1 tablespoon of soy sauce (tweak to your taste)
more than 100 g of shrimps, peeled and deveined (it's equivalent for 10 or more shrimps)
2-5 green onions, chopped
1 large cabbage leaf, chopped to small pieces (optional)
Appropriate amount of your favourite ingredients! (ex: ham, green peas, carrots, corn, char siu etc..) (optional)
1. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan or a wok on medium heat.
2. Add garlic in the pan and stir fry until aromatic. Add the ginger and stir together.
3. Add
onion, shrimp and cabbage. Stir fry.
4. When the shrimp is cooked, add the beaten egg. When you see the edges cooking, break up the eggs and ingredients so they don't stick.
5. Add in the rice and stir fry to distribute the ingredients well. Drizzle on the soy sauce and toss to coat.
6. Turn off the heat and enjoy!

Cheese Burgerdon!
I was browsing through papadesuyo777's videos and I really wanted to try the Grilled Cheese Beef Bowl! I was missing some ingredients but it was still tasty! Instead of sliced beef I used hamburger! If you would like to try the original here is the video!:
Cheese Burgerdon! (serves 1 person)
1-2 patties of hamburger
1/4 or more onion, sliced thinly
1/4 cup cheese
a little parmesan cheese
1 green onion, chopped (garnish)
1-2 tablespoons water
less than 1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons vinegar
2 teaspoons mirin
1 tablespoon sugar
1 garlic clove, grated
1/2 to 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
About 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1. Cook your burger patty(s) according to instructions. When it has cooled, chop to bite-size pieces.
2. Combine water, soy sauce, vinegar, mirin, sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds and onion in a pan. Boil on medium heat.
3. When the sauce is boiling, add the burger and toss to coat it evenly. Turn off the heat. (You can actually stop here if you just want a hamburger rice bowl without cheese. Just place hamburger mixture on your rice and enjoy with green onion or pickled ginger!)
4. Place the hamburger mixture on a non-stick baking pan or a baking pan lined with foil. Pour excess liquid on your rice.
5. Sprinkle on the cheeses and broil it in the oven on low for 5 minutes!
6. Serve the burger on your rice bowl and garnish with the green onion or pickled ginger! Enjoy!

Instant Noodle with Miso!
I tried it yesterday and it was good! You can cook it two ways. For the instant noodle junkies!
Instant Noodle with miso
1 pack instant noodle (chicken, beef, or original)
less than 1 soup packet (don't use the whole thing!)
500 ml water
2 teaspoons miso paste
desired amount of toasted nori
desired amount of corn
Way 1
1. Boil the water.
2. Put noodle block, contents of soup packet and miso in a bowl.
3. Pour the boiling water in the bowl and cover for 3 minutes.
4. Serve with nori and corn and enjoy!
Way 2
1. In a pot, put in noodle block, contents of soup packet, miso and water. Turn the stove in medium-high.
2. When the water boils, turn the heat off and set it aside for 3 minutes.
3. Serve with nori and corn and enjoy!
Obviously you can skip the soup packet and use dashi stock! Put in your desired noodle toppings!
