This brand is probably the most popular of the instant yakisoba noodles, maybe because it is Nissin. I've seen U.F.O. a lot in anime too.
Golden Time
This one had pictures! Not like the Peyoung. Simple and helpful.
The styrofoam bowl was wrapped in the vibrant U.F.O. plastic. The lid had a nifty little draining spout and also instructions. I really like how they put all the numbers and arrangements and everything.
There was no vegetable packet as they are already with the noodles. I'm presuming they were fried together as some of the cabbage pieces looked golden brown. There were also bits of meat, they were a bit bigger than bacon bits to compare. They weren't meat pebbles.
Packets were of yakisoba sauce and aonori. The noodles were not as shortly bundled, they had a longer and thicker consistency than Peyoung noodles.
Okay, let's make U.F.O. Yakisoba!
First, we pour boiling water over the noodles until the line and wait 3 minutes.
With the lightsaber chopsticks!
After 3 minutes, we peel off the black paper on the top...
And we can drain our noodles!! Yeah, so awesome!!!
These built-in draining spouts in Japanese noodle containers make me weep.
I may have left it soaking a bit too long since it looked a bit too soft but it was alright.
The aonori sachet also had sesame seeds and some other things.
Nissin U.F.O. had a more distinctive taste. It was sweeter and had a slightly pungent flavour and aroma from the ginger which I had tasted.Noodles were chewy and not soggy. Cabbage was crunchy and meat had a meaty bite. Really liked it! Awesome stuff!!
