A really easy and tasty rice bowl!
Curry Donburi (serves 1-2)
225 grams ground meat
2 teaspoons grated ginger
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tomato, chopped
more or less 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/3 onion, sliced thinly
1/3 cup water
24 grams curry block
shredded cheese
egg
1. Add meat in the frying pan. Turn heat to medium and while meat is not yet cooked, add the garlic, ginger and onion.
2. Stir-fry the meat well. If there's lots of fat that comes out you may drain some out.
3. Season the meat with the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
4. Pour in the water and stir. Then add the tomatoes.
5. Simmer for 5-10 minutes in medium low heat.
6. After simmering, turn off the heat. Break up and melt the curry block until consistency has slightly thickened.
7. Turn the heat back on medium or medium-low until the curry has reached desired consistency. Curry's done.
8. Fry an egg sunny side up (I like mine with edges crisp brown!)
9. To serve, put rice in a bowl and sprinkle some cheese on top. Scoop in some curry on the rice and sprinkle more cheese! Place the egg on top and enjoy!
It was a pretty flavourful meal that left me very satisfied! Hope you guys will like it.
