First Look: Winter 2014 Anime

I cannot believe I've been consistently writing ongoing anime lists for a year now! I'm actually in a very good mood today, I've finally caught up with my episodes after ignoring them for a few weeks. My anime season looks to be a bit zesty and very comfortable.

After watching the first season two falls ago, I was very touched because it turned out to be endearing and I was pleasantly surprised about the character development.

When the second season was announced last year, I was surprised as well. But, here we are. It's a really cute story and I can't wait what the pink-haired character brings. Included in watching this anime, are the OVA shorts (Lite).

Read a few chapters of the original and I knew its popularity would result into a anime adaptation.

Honestly, not very original but I really don't mind. I can't really stand Raku's voice (guess what, Ichika's voice actor) but I was excited when I found out Nao Toyama voices Chitoge. Shaft adds another dimension to the anime with its style and clariS' opening theme song is soothing along with its animation sequence.

The first season is one of my personal favourites. So, I was ecstatic when they announced a second season. Took them long enough!

It's still Seitokai Yakuindomo at its best and I think the animation got better. The jokes are funny as always, I think better as well. If you want to chill out from your intense anime series', you might wanna watch this. A bit inappropriate if you can stand that.

And yeah, that's all the new anime I'm watching this season. Now, updates on my two-cours. New season means new theme songs!

Great blend of drama and romance so far. I really, really like it. There's a bit of similarity with Toradora! with how the opening themes go. First song's upbeat, the second quite melancholic. Looking forward to Episode 16.

You see that picture? Some of them grew up that's what happened. A bittersweet and interesting chapter in the anime. I think it's fantastic. Manaka, I miss you!

Compared to Fall 2013, I cut down to half for new titles. There's been way too much on my plate the past months and I think it's time to try to be more sensible. Also, I finally started to watch a finished run of anime; Hataraku Maou-sama!. I haven't done this in four months, and I think that's the problem that's been putting me over the edge recently.

Well, until next time!
