Last thoughts: Fall 2013 Anime

So my comments won't be as long as before but I should finish this up quickly! Anyway, a good season.

  Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Love Come o Zenryoku de Jama Shiteiru 

I like that the generic animu style contrasts really good with the ironic (?) comedy. Overall it's a really hilarious anime that pokes fun at harem animu tropes.

 

The exaggerated qualities of the characters make this anime really a fun show.

Galilei Donna

I thought it was very interesting in the beginning but the pacing on the latter half was quite bad because there are so much things in it that were never explored thoroughly. I'm afraid the portrayal of Galileo was not very accurate and somehow it didn't help.

If you just began on your anime watching you might want to give this a try. It might leave some unsatisfied of the end because it looks like that's the whole story.

Little Busters! ~Refrain~

This anime is precious and it is one of the best in my opinion! It's heartbreaking at some points and it spreads a very good message. If you haven't watched this yet, you are missing out!

You need to watch the first season beforehand, it's worth it!

Infinite Stratos 2

  
It crumbled. I'm disappointed with this anime the most. The characters you knew in the first season don't exist here I think. It's all about Ichika and how he's stupid and he can save the day and how everyone lacks common sense. Sad.

 

Everything they put in the writing are overused tropes. Sometimes, I wonder if this is misunderstood work with deeper meaning. It's a shame because the art is pretty good.

Kyoukai no Kanata

It was good and it was cool to see the supernatural things and stuff. To be honest, there were some parts I didn't understand and I think that affected my enjoyment for this show. Characters are funny.

This was more of a first step in crafting a good story in my opinion. Definitely tons of eye-candy, it's Kyoto Animation what do you expect! Thumbs up.

 Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai

 Really cool and I like how the anime is divided into arcs. Pretty nice combination of action and fantasy.

I think it needs a second season because the anime didn't tie up all loose ends.

So that's it for the anime that lasted the whole fall season. Here's what I think of my two-cour series'.

Nagi no Asukara

 I'm enjoying this immensely and it's quite relatable in some ways. More realistic than usual anime.

Golden Time

Very good drama and it's made me tear up in some episodes. Highly recommended if you've watched Toradora!.
