Lunch #1!
Carrot rolled omelet
1/2 carrot
2 green onions, chopped
3 eggs
1tablespoon milk
salt
1. To prepare the carrot, peel it and chop off the ends. Then 'slice' the carrot by using the peeler. You'll end up with thin strips. Chop the carrots to really small pieces.
2. Beat eggs, combine with green onions, carrots, salt and milk.
3. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan.
4. Add a third of the egg. When the egg is half-cooked,roll with a flipper or chopsticks. If you don't get it here's a video:
5.Slice omelette when cooled to bite-sized pieces.
Roasted Mushrooms
10-15 mushrooms, quartered
more than a tablespoon of olive oil
ample amount of salt and pepper
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a foil-lined pan, distribute mushrooms and drizzle to coat with olive oil.
3. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Bake the mushrooms for 10-15 minutes.
Juicy Sausage
1 package Johnsonville Sausage (use any sausage if you want)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Make slits on the sausages with a knife or poke holes in it.
3. Place on a foil-lined pan.
4. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes, flipping sausages half way.
5. Flip sausages again. Broil them at low for 5 minutes.
So when I made lunch, I had some omelette leftover (about 6 small pieces) and I used 2 sausages for each of the 2 lunches so there were 2 left over...Oh, and it was eaten with rice!
Also, had some tomatoes with it, which I barely touched since I realized there was a lot of stuff already!
